CHINA - SALZBURG


Im Gastatelier des Landes Salzburg ist derzeit der chinesische Künstler Song Yongping. Er unterrichtet an einer renommierten Kunstuniversität in Peking.

Für seinen Aufenthalt in Salzburg hat er ein spezielles Projekt erdacht:
Da Salzburg vor allem mit Musik in Verbindung gebracht wird, ist das Hören Zentrum seines Konzeptes. Dafür hat er aus Silikon sein eigenes Ohr mehrfach abgegossen. Diese kleinen rosa Ohren möchte er an wichtigen Stellen in der Stadt anbringen und Fotos davon machen.

Eine dieser Stellen ist über unserem Weinarchiv-Abgang.
Yongping leiht uns sein Ohr bis Ende August.

1961 Born in Shanxi Province, China
1983        Graduated from the Painting Department of The Tianjin Fine Arts Academy
Currently resident in Beijing and teaching at the Arts and Design Department of The Beijing University of Agriculture
